Former STEM students Mayim Stith and Allison Inman gave a great presentation at TEDx Fargo about the STEM education and how it compares with the traditional system. Tackling the question of how to get more students interested in schooling and education, they bring to the table what STEM has to offer. They elaborate on how the mindset of the children changes between the two education systems, and explain how in STEM, students are more geared for learning in a more interactive and engaging manner. Giving examples from their own experience, Stith and Inman portray the true meaning and potential of the STEM education system.
